Northeast of the center, two adjacent slices of unglossy Seoul. Majang-dong is Korea's largest meat market — where the city's butchers and grill houses buy, and you eat hanwoo cheap right where it's cut. Next door, the Dapsimni antique arcade, rooms of old furniture, ceramics and curios, has quietly become a haunt for a younger design crowd. Not pretty, not touristy; that's the point.
