Lotte World, the tallest tower, and a lake to walk
Southeast Seoul, built around Lotte World: the indoor-outdoor theme park, the 555-metre Lotte World Tower with its mall and observation deck, and Seokchon Lake wrapped around it (cherry blossoms in spring). A full-day destination more than a neighborhood to graze; come for the park, the tower, or the lake.
No photos, no star ratings — just what I'd tell a friend. I live in Seoul and these are the places I actually go, 3 of them here.
Open it in the appOne of Seoul's biggest malls under Lotte World Tower: department store, aquarium, Seoul Sky, a whole rainy day indoors.
The world's largest indoor theme park, with an outdoor half too; old, but still genuinely fun without kids.
The lake loop around Lotte World Tower, always full of walkers and completely mobbed in cherry-blossom season.
What to order and how to get in — the queue windows, the door moves, the booking that needs a Korean phone number — is in the app.
Bukchon is free, in full, so you can see whether you trust me before paying.
